LGS Series Dry Granulator

Dry granulator is an important machine to make dry powder into granules, which is an environmentally friendly granulation process without wetting agent and saves drying process. It is widely used in pharmaceutical, food, chemical and other industries. It is especially suitable for the granulation of drugs which are easy to decompose when wet, easy to absorb moisture and sensitive to heat. Granule bulk density increases after granulation and fluidity improves.

Hosting frame

1.Upper and lower double-layer structure, the upper layer can be disassembled as a whole to facilitate overhaul.

2.Enclosed box fitted with several exhaust fans for heat dissipation and micro-positive pressure to prevent dust entry.

3.Separation of production processes and machine power spaces.

4.It can be installed on partition walls to minimize energy waste in the clean area, and facilitate to overhaul and clean.

Feed system

1.Feed screw adopts single screw design, compared with the traditional double-screw design, it is stronger, more uniform in force and less prone to deformation. Variable pitch design, with pre-compression function, the feed screw adopts intermittent design (patented technology, Patent No. ZL 2019 2 2068617.8), and each intermittent place is equipped with blocking screws to increase the damping, and prevent the material and the screw from rotating together and not advancing forward.

2.With a unique U-shaped feeding hopper, the contact area between material and screw is large, and the feeding is more continuous. The hopper adopts a double-chamber structure, one for the feeding chamber and one for the exhaust chamber, which prevents the material bypass due to air retention during the material fall.

3.Equipped with feed stirring function to increasing material fluidity and prevent material bridging. With vacuum degassing function, using oil-free rotary vane pump as vacuum source.

4.Feed motor and stirring motor are frequency control.

Press wheel assembly

1.Equipped with a cooling system, cooling temperature 5 ~ 20℃ (outlet water temperature), can detect the backwater temperature separately, self-priming pump negative pressure circulation, chiller stainless steel shell.

2.Equipped with four hydraulic cylinders to ensure the parallelism of the front and rear of the press wheels.

3.The pressure wheel adopts cantilever design to facilitate disassembly and cleaning. Adopt 3Cr13 material, overall tempering, surface high-frequency quenching, hardness ≥ HRC45, depth of 1.5mm, the external overall hard chrome plating, plating depth of 0.02 ~ 0.03mm, chromium plating hardness ≥ 800 ~ 900HV, optional straight line, reticulation, glossy three types of pattern of the pressure wheel.

4.Equipped with scraping block, the gap between scraping block and press wheel is adjustable.

5.The press wheel side seal is made of superpolymer material with high surface hardness and good abrasion resistance.

6.Equipped with crushing knives, it can initially crush large materials into small pieces.

7.Pressure wheel motor is frequency control.

Milling system

1.Double-stage milling (LGS-300 model single-stage milling), particle size range 10-80 mesh.

2.The gap between the milling mesh and the milling knife can be adjusted, the milling mesh can be replaced, the milling mesh has punching and weaving types, which are suitable for different processes, and the porosity rate of the milling mesh can reach more than 60%.

3.The milling wheel id frequency control.

4.The milling machine is located inside the protective housing, which can be serviced by unscrewing it.

Seal breakage detection

The seal breakage detection system with patented technology (Patent No.: ZL 2019 2 2066360.2), in which compressed air is instilled between the two seals, the compressed air leakage when seals breakage, the system alarms but does not shut down, the equipment can still be used normally. The tested parts include, feed stirring, feed screw, upper pressure wheel, lower pressure wheel, crushing knife, coarse milling and fine milling.
